Burien runs down to Puget Sound along its whole western edge, and inland it mixes older family houses with newer apartments around the town centre. Two kinds of oven, one complaint
A wall oven is an electric appliance on a circuit of its own. When it will not heat, the short list is the supply, the bake element, the temperature sensor and the control that reads it, and each of those is tested from the front with the door open. Near the shoreline the door hardware is worth a look as well, since damp salty air reaches hinges and exposed screws long before it reaches anything electrical.
A range oven is a different animal. On a Wolf dual fuel range the oven is electric under a gas cooktop, so it behaves much like the wall oven above. On an all-gas range the oven burner is lit by a spark igniter, and an oven that will not heat becomes an ignition question: does it click, does it catch, does it lock out.
